Anna Kleinsorge (born May 8th) is a plus-size model and actress appearing in top print and magazine publications including Marie Claire, Figure and the Los Angeles Times. Anna has also appeared in various editorial and catalogue campaigns with Old Navy, TJmaxx, Marshalls, Forever21, Junonia, Plus Model Magazine and an international campaign with the Turkish fashion line, Vedi Trinko. Anna can be recognized from a number of national and international commercials as well as her time on FOX television’s “More to Love”, where she quickly became a favorite and was singled out  in USweekly, Entertainment Weekly and People Magazine.

A native to Northern California, Anna has tasted the spotlight as both a performer and an athlete. Spending her childhood as a dancer and actress while performing in local theater productions, Anna hit an early growth spurt and it wasn’t long before her height started to get her noticed. At the age of eleven Anna added volleyball to her arsenal of activities, and it carried her through college on a full scholarship at Georgetown University where she double majored in Marketing and Business Management with a minor in Theater. After college, Anna returned to her first love – acting and garnered her associated degree at the American Academy of Dramatic Art.

Anna was introduced to the world of fashion under the urging of her first commercial agent and being quickly identified as a top tier talent, immediately felt in her element. Always having been a “big boned girl” Anna uses her spotlight to advocate healthy lifestyle choices and strives to promote a healthy image for women of all-sizes in mainstream print and media. Pursuing this advocacy, Anna stepped into the role of producer promoting body diversity with the film FORMÉ, which was used to launch the plus-size division LAm2 – plus+ at the prestigious and internationally respected agency LAmodels.

When not traveling for work, Anna calls Los Angeles home and works to support such causes as ‘Run for Her’, Charity Water and the Geena Davis Institute on Gender in Media. Most recently Anna accepted the role of Executive Director at the Focused Intensity Foundation, a non-profit that works to raise scholarships for treatment of substance abuse and mental health related disorders.
